2019 Digital Photography
For photo three I have chose to do architecture. I used the buildings in downtown Saline. I think the buildings are very interesting and unique in their own way. This assignment was a lot of fun and I made me think on how I wanted to take the picture and where to set my camera. Overall it was a fun experience and I would love to do it again.

In this project we had to use photoshop to get rid of the background. We used the crop tool, clone tool, and selection tool. It was my first time using the selection tool and it was very challenging. I enjoyed this assignment but I didn't like how I had to use the quick selection to color the background. Overall it was a fun learning assignment and I learned so much.
For the second photo assignment I chose to focus on the topic nature. I am so interested in nature and how it looks. This assignment was very fun going out and finding different elements of nature. I feel like I could have spent more time on the pictures and showed more detail. But I used different settings for every picture.
In this assignment we had to use photoshop and add color to an image. We also had to use the instructions to make our image exact. I learned how to use different tools in photoshop including the crop tool, how to make a picture have a different color. I liked this assignment it was very cool and fun to use different tools and create a fun image.
For photo 2 I am doing nature and I think I am going to use flowers and I want to be able to show the color and the space that they are in. Here are some examples.
For my first photo assignment I chose to focus on the subject people. I chose this topic because I love my family and love spending time with them. These are a few pictures of my sister, grandma, and brother. When doing this assignment I loved spending time with my family and using a different mode which was portrait. I think that my family really enjoyed this.
For photo number one I am going to do the subject of people. I think this will be fun putting people in different areas to make the picture better. I think I am going to use my friends and family to take these pictures. I am excited to use different elements of the camera. There is examples down below of what I am thinking about doing.
In Image one the shutter speed was 22 which was a slow shutter speed so the picture appears fuzzy or blurry and it looks like the ball is moving very fast. But with picture number four the shutter speed is 4.5 which is a very fast shutter speed so the ball appears to not be moving and just floating in the air. In picture one the aperture is 5.6 and the lens is just focuses on the subject which is the pink pencil. Then the last picture focuses on all of the pencils because the lens is more closed. The aperture in the last picture is 36. Question Answers
1) Fast shutter speed captures the action being preformed. 2) Slow shutter speed can cause motion blur. 3) Large aperture focuses on the whole image. 4) Small aperture focuses on just the object you want to be the main focus. In this assignment we used different elements. We learned how to make a blog and use a camera. Also we learned the elements of the camera. I liked how we had to get creative with the pictures we took. We also learned how to use the computer to upload our pictures. During this assignment I found getting all the elements was not as easy as I thought, but overall it was a fun assignment. I loved the framing picture the best and I felt as if it was the easiest and I would say that the hardest one to fine was symmetry trying to find something cool and even on both sides. I think you should keep doing this assignment because it is a good way to learn about the camera and get a feel for it before you go into the harder things later in the tri.
